the ins and outs | Vol. 2 with Art2Action – “Media: A Lack of Boundaries“
Join us for the second event in our the ins and the outs series exploring the boundary-breaking legacy of Nina Yankowitz. This 21+ evening invites guests to connect over food, drink, and dialogue with Art2Action—an artist-led collective producing innovative, interdisciplinary performance and community-centered art.
Media: A Lack of Boundaries dives into Nina’s fearless approach to artistic expression, which spanned painting, film, installation, sound, and public art. Her refusal to stay in one lane echoes the ethos of Art2Action, a collective that embraces creators of all disciplines—writers, performers, composers, choreographers, and filmmakers—who thrive beyond categorization.
Led by Andrea Assaf, founder and artistic director of Art2Action, this evening features a conversation over dinner that taps into Nina’s boundaryless practice. Guests will then engage in hands-on creative exercises drawn from performance training, designed to encourage exploration, reflection, and new ways of thinking across disciplines.
